Ieri sera, 1 dicembre, gli U2, Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Martin e Carrie Underwood si sono esibiti in un concerto a sorpresa a Duffy Square, Times Square, New York.
L’evento — A (RED) THANK YOU — è stato organizzato in occasione della Giornata mondiale contro l’Aids da Bono degli U2, che non ha potuto essere presente in quanto convalescente da un incidente in bicicletta.
Gli U2 hanno suonato Where the Streets Have No Name e I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For insieme a Bruce Springsteen, e Beautiful Day e With or Without You insieme a Chris Martin dei Coldplay.
Kanye West ha cantato Power, Jesus Walks, Black Skinhead, Stronger e Touch the Sky.
