Cinque anni fa Lana Del Rey ha registrato un demo contro Lady Gaga

In questi giorni è trapelato in rete un vecchio demo di Lana Del Rey registrato nel 2008, quando non era ancora famosa e la Spagna vinceva il suo secondo Campionato Europeo di calcio.
La canzone si intitola So Legit e parla di Lady Gaga, del suo cambiamento da quando giravano gli stessi locali di New York al successo planetario.

Il testo è abbastanza pesante, soprattutto per chi non ha voglia di leggerlo…

Beh, guardiamo il lato positivo, almeno non è un demo di Vasco Rossi che ripete all’infinito “Ligabue fa schifo, ehhhh… vaffanc*lo Ligabue, ehhh…”.

Si parla di compromessi per riuscire a sfondare nel music business. E’ un testo che parla di tutti gli artisti di Brooklyn che hanno raggiunto un successo planetario, compresa Lana Del Rey. Insomma, è evidente che gli alter ego artistici di Stefani Germanotta e Elizabeth Grant siano molto più pop di quanto loro avrebbero voluto.

A proposito di compromessi, il prossimo 25 agosto al Barclays Center di Brooklyn, New York, saranno consegnati gli MTV Music Video Awards 2013. Lana Del Rey ha due nomination: Best Cinematography per Ride e Best Art Direction per National Anthem.
