Quattro premi ai Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl ha sottolineato che il loro ultimo album è stato registrato in garage e quanto sia importante l’elemento rockettaro umano nella musica.
Quattro premi anche per Kanye West, due per Taylor Swift e uno postumo per Amy Winehouse, il Best Pop Duo/Group Performance per Body and Soul con Tony Bennett.
Adele è salita sul palco anche per cantare Rolling in the deep e s’è beccata una standing ovation di un minuto.
