Ieri notte si sono svolti gli MTV VMA 2020. Sicuramente quella di quest’anno è stata un’edizione insolita e diversa dalle precedenti, ma nonostante questo non sono mancate le emozioni tipiche dello show; ma soprattutto i vincitori nelle varie categorie!
Causa coronavirus, le star non si sono riunite al Barclays Center a New York, come era stato previsto in origine; bensì si sono uniti dai loro rispettivi hub sparsi in tutto il paese: da Staten Island, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens fino a Manhattan. Alla guida dell’evento la attrice, presentatrice, autrice e doppiatrice classe 1993 Lauren Keyana Palmer, in arte Keke Palmer.
Ariana Grande e Lady Gaga erano le star con più nominations, ben 9 candidature a testa, una condivisa: cioè quella per Video dell’anno per il brano Rain On Me. Seguono poi Billie Eilish e The Weeknd con 6 candidature ciascuno.
Quest’anno sono inoltre state introdotte due nuove categorie: Best Music Video From Home e Best Quarantine Performance; per premiare gli escamotage creativi e originali trovati dagli artisti per adattarsi alla difficile situazione.
Ora però basta parlare, è giunto il momento di scoprire i vari nominati agli MTV VMA ma soprattutto i vincitori di ciascuna categoria.
